Digital Business Integration Releases Major Update To hh2 Remote Payroll

Digital Business Integration, providers of Web services to the construction industry, announced today the release of a major update to their hh2 Remote Payroll solution. hh2 Remote Payroll allows construction company employees to input time at remote jobsites using a web browser instead of the traditional method of handwriting and faxing timesheets.

In an effort to streamline the solution and make it easier to use and manage, hh2 Remote Payroll was completely redesigned from the ground up. “We made the decision to start with a clean slate and re-build the product from scratch to force us to think through each function and ask ourselves if there was a better way it could be done,” said COO Devon Dorrity. “The result is a super-efficient method for managing payroll that is also easy enough for those with only basic computer skills to use.”

Among the noteworthy changes to the product is the use of AJAX technology. This technology allows information to be saved as it is entered rather than having to press a “save” or “submit” button. AJAX also improves the overall performance and speed of hh2 Remote Payroll. Other significant changes include the ability to customize payroll approval processes, track unit production in addition to time, track equipment profitability, enter time for all jobsite employees on the same page, drill down on reports for more detail and perform helpful HR activities like employee evaluations, quick ratings and raise requests. As with previous versions of hh2 Remote Payroll, companies can import collected information into their accounting and information software using a seamlessly integrated import tool.

“The response we’ve received from those companies who beta tested the updated version of hh2 Remote Payroll has been very positive,” said Dorrity. “Our development team worked hard to build something truly unique and beneficial for construction companies and we’re excited the product is now ready for wide release.”
