Frequently Asked Questions
If I make a change in HR will it change timberline as well?
Answer: We currently update selected data on the Employee Record, along with Fringes, Deductions, and Pay Records. This can optionally be configured to synchronize both directions, or to not sync at all. It all depends on your preferences.

If I make a change in Timberline will it change in hh2 as well?
Answer: See above answer. By default any changes made in Timberline will be reflected in hh2 on the next sync.

Can employees log in and see only their specific without displaying anybody else?
Answer: We have an Employee Records interface that allows employees to only see thier own information. What they see is completely up to you. Each type of data can be individually be turned on or off.

Can employees go online and view their paystubs?
Answer: Yes. Employees can view and download their pay stubs going as far back as the Timberline database allows. The pay stubs will be available in pdf format and can be downloaded or printed.

Can I attached scanned forms of certifications and documents to a specific employee?
Answer: Yes. You can scan in documents of any kind, classify those documents, and attach them directly to the employee record. Classifying the document will allow you to control who has permission to view certain types of documents.

Is there a way to limit users to the HR system so they are only allowed to certain areas?
Answer: We have an extensive set of permissions that allow you to configure multiple HR staff for administrating different groups of employees or different types of information for the same groups. Once again, this is completely flexible and depends on how elaborate your needs are.
