With employees scattered across multiple jobsites and client locations, they looked to hh2 Remote Payroll to gather the payroll data across multiple locations in order to increase control and reduce the time spent on documenting their payroll costs for their clients.
Contech was previously using paper timecards and excel spreadsheets to process payroll on a bi-weekly basis for its 225 employees. Getting payroll data gathered, approved, and keyed into Timberline this way was a daunting task. Because much of Contech's work is service oriented, they did a significant amount of work onsite and needed their clients to sign-off on the work that was being performed.
After implementing hh2 Remote Payroll, they took advantage of the PDF Timecard feature which allows users to print off their completed timecards and get their customer's signature. “We looked at other solutions, but they were too complicated,” said Ronda Seal, Contech's accounting manager. “We love the PDF Timecard in hh2 Remote Payroll.”
Contech also appreciated being able to use hh2 Remote Payroll's extensive set of controls to limit which codes different Groups or Jobsites were able to use. “hh2 Remote Payroll really helped us out because it gave us boundaries for cost coding,” said Ronda.
Contech experienced major improvements since implementing hh2 Remote Payroll including improved access, more accurate coding, and significant time savings. “hh2 Remote Payroll drastically reduced the amount of time we spend on processing payroll,” says Ronda. “It saves us a full day of work every week. Now that we have been using hh2 Remote Payroll for nearly two years we couldn't imagine doing our weekly payroll without it.”
